Die Seldjoekse Ryk was ’n Middeleeuse Turks-Persiese^{[8][9][10][11]} ryk. Dit was in beheer van ’n groot gebied van die Hindoekoesj tot Oos-Anatolië en van Sentraal-Asië tot die Persiese Golf. Van hul tuislande naby die Aralmeer het hulle eers in Chorasan en toe in Persië inbeweeg voordat hulle eindelik Oos-Anatolië verower het.
